Every June, the Audubon Arts District springs to life with the Audobon Arts on the Edge Event. This event, sponsored by the Arts Council of Greater New Haven, features live music, art, dance performances, face painting, children's activities, massages, henna tattooing, fashion shows, craft shows, sidewalk sales, film screenings, coordinated gallery openings and more. In the evening, the crowd gathers in Leeney Plaza for more live music and more dancing under romantic Japanese lanterns.
