Celebrating a major gift of over two hundred photographs from the collection of Allan Chasanoff, B.A. 1961. This exhibition will explore the seldom-discussed phenomenon of optical confusion in photography. Drawn from the Chasanoff Collection, as well a from the Gallery's permanent collection, First Doubt will feature approximately eighty photographs by a diverse array of photographers across the twentieth century. Seen together, they reveal the interpretive nature of the lens and the interpolative nature of the photograph

The New Haven Life welcomes New Haven to the great tradition of Restaurant Week. Many of the finest restaurants in the area are here in New Haven, acclaimed chefs and award winning restaurants dot the city and the Restaurant Week is a great chance to open their doors to people all around the city.
